FIELD: application of coverings. SUBSTANCE: constant current arc is burnt between wire electrodes. The electrodes are connected with positive and negative poles of current source. Electrode which is connected with positive pole, is advanced into the arc at higher speed or this electrode may have larger cross-section, in particular, diameter, than electrode which is connected with negative pole. Connection with positive pole is also available, when electrode is made of material with higher melting point and/or specific melting heat. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 4 cl
