FIELD: deposition of coatings. SUBSTANCE: coatings are applied by plasma method, using a mixture of gases. The plasma jet is modulated, periodically changing the flow rate of two gases at a frequency of 100-200 Hz, leaving the total flow rate of mixture unchanged. The plasma-generating gases are mixtures of argon, nitrogen, natural gas, etc. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
