FIELD: calcining furnace equipment. SUBSTANCE: diffuser has pipeline with one inner partition defining contours of longitudinal chambers for dividing gas flow into plurality of flows, at least one tubular member defining closed channel and provided with openings communicating with associated longitudinal chambers of pipeline and a plurality of chambers communicating with associated outer openings and extending along opposite inner side walls of tubular member for introducing partial flows into peripheral zone. Diffuser is further provided with device for deflecting partial flows in the direction parallel to side surface. Tubular members may be positioned in overlapped relation one with respect the other. Outer openings may be made in lower tubular member of two tubular members in its two opposite sides. Tubular members may be provided with inner partitions and openings for providing mutual communication and defining chambers communicating with associated openings.
