FIELD: separation of finely divided particles suspended in gaseous phase for different fields of engineering. SUBSTANCE: separator has vertical swirl chamber 3 provided with swirl generator at its inlet, and diffuser 5 at its outlet. Precipitating chamber 7 provided with separated phase collector 4 is positioned at diffuser 5 outlet. Precipitating chamber 7 has an outlet for purified gas in its upper part. The swirl generator is made in the form of horizontal disk chamber 2 with tangential nozzle 1 and near-axis nozzle 9 provided for inlet of recirculating gas flow. Besides, upper part 6 of precipitating chamber 7 is made in the form of truncated cone with big base down, which covers diffuser 5, and nozzle 9 is in communication with part 11 of precipitating chamber through gas duct 10 (either several gas ducts). Part 11 is limited with its conical section 6 and outer surface of diffuser 5. EFFECT: high productivity. 2 dwg
