FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation apparatuses for separating gas-liquid flows in technological gas separation processes in the petroleum refining, petrochemical and gas industries. The direct-flow centrifugal vortex separator constitutes a vertical cylindrical apparatus consisting of a body containing an inlet and an outlet branch pipes. Also placed are two consecutive separation chambers with swirlers. An internal cylindrical insert is coaxially placed in the body, an annular space is formed between the body and the insert for drainage of the separated liquid. A separation vortex chamber with a swirler, with slotted tangential cuts, is placed coaxially in the lower part of the inner space of the insert. The entry into the separation chamber is provided by means of a tangential branch pipe extending beyond the body, wherein the separation chamber is closed from below with a bottom and from above with a disk, a working branch pipe is placed in the centre of the disk. The middle part of the insert, separated by a connector for discharge of the separated liquid, has a conical adapter at the site of the connector, connecting the lower part of the insert and the lower base of the cylindro-conical diffuser. A separation pipe is installed in the upper output of the cone of the cylindro-conical diffuser, the lower base whereof is composed of the sharp-pointed tangential guides of the branch pipe, the vertices whereof are matched with the perimeter of the base of the cone. A protective cap encasing the branch pipe is coaxially installed with a gap on top of the separation branch pipe, provided on the outer edge whereof is a conical guide with a shield. The upper hole of the conical part of the cylindro-conical diffuser is connected with the sharp-pointed tangential guides of the separation branch pipe, placed in the upper part whereof with a gap is a protective cap adjacent thereto, secured in the lower edge whereof is a conical guide shield. In the upper part, the space between the end of the inner cylindrical insert and the surface of the branch pipe with sharp-pointed tangential guides is closed by a conical flap. In the middle part, at the lower base of the cylindro-conical diffuser and the inner cylindrical generatrix, an annular gap is provided for removal of the separated liquid from the upper swirler of the separation apparatus into the annular space between the inner surface of the body and the cylindrical generatrix of the insert. The separated liquid is removed from the cubic collector by means of a branch pipe and a shutoff valve placed thereon, and the separated gas is removed by means of a branch pipe located in the upper part of the body of the separator and a valve placed on the branch pipe. A cylindro-conical diffuser is placed in the upper part of the insert. A separation branch pipe is installed at the upper output of the cone of the cylindro-conical diffuser, the lower base whereof is composed of sharp-pointed tangential guides, the vertices whereof are matched with the perimeter of the base of the cone. A protective cap encasing the branch pipe is coaxially installed with a gap on top of the separation branch pipe.
EFFECT: invention ensures more efficient two-stage swirling of the intake pressure gas-liquid flow.
