FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer-neutralizer has vortex chamber with tangential supplying of gases and inlet chamber which define a flowing path, profiled passageway for supplying the atmospheric air arranged along the axis of the flowing path, and catalyzer carrier mounted inside the path. The mixing chamber are interposed between the vortex chamber and inlet chamber and made up as a branch pipe and diverging pipe which coupled with the branch pipe. The diverging pipe encloses the vortex chamber with a spaced relation. The branch pipe is mounted inside the outlet chamber to define a ring space between them. The catalyzer carrier is constructed as an assemble of hollow trancated cones having curved generatrix. The cones are coaxially mounted inside the vortex chamber to define a space between them. EFFECT: enhanced silencing and decreased toxicity. 2 cl, 2 dwg
