FIELD: means of small-scale mechanization. SUBSTANCE: hoist has upper sheave with body 1, two shafts 2 and 3, four sprockets 4,5,6 and 7, axle 13, guide roller 14 and lower sheave with shaft 9 and hook 11 and slosed chain 12 reeved on sprockets of upper and lower sheaves to form loops. Sprockets 4,5,6 and 7 are rigidly secured on shafts 2 and 3 in two parallel planes perpendicular to plane of shafts. Guide roller 14 limits disturbance of non-carrying part of chain running onto sprockets. Hoist can be equipped with additional chain 8 to couple shafts 2 and 3 of upper sheave through sprockets 4 and 5 differing in size. Ratio of number of teeth of additional chain drive sprockets differs from ratio of number of teeth of different-size sprokets of main chain drive. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg
