FIELD: dissolving of gases in liquid. SUBSTANCE: aerator has tubular shaft mounted vertically in reservoir with water being treated. Upper air-intake end of shaft is open and its lower end carries rotor. Drive motor is located in reservoir below water level. Motor rotor is seated onto tubular shaft in its middle portion at point of dynamic center of inertia and stator is enclosed in special casing and disposed coaxially with motor rotor. Due to low point of mounting of electric motor rotor and the whole its construction on tubular shaft tangential and bending stresses as well as aerator rotor runout are excluded and conditions of cooling of electric motor casing are improved. EFFECT: longer service life of electric motor. 1 dwg
