FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: enzyme L-lysine-α-oxidase is used as an inhibitor of human immunodeficiency virus. Enzyme shows the following properties: it oxidizes L-lysine, L-arginine, L-phenylalanine, L-tyrosine and L-histidine, its mol. mass is 114 ± 39 kDa, isoelectric point at 4.25, pH optimum is 7.7 + 0.3, thermal stability: decrease activity at temperature above 60 C; inhibitors: Zn, Cu, Ba, Fe2+.
