FIELD: water-development works. SUBSTANCE: method provides for fastening on carrier 1 having brackets 2 and needles 3 of bellows-like packet 6 made of strip film 4 with the aid of welds 5. Strip film 4 in packet 6 is welded in pairs resulting in the formation of loose ends 7 and 8 located from the outside of welds 5 in the alternating order. Through slots 10 are made in loose ends 8. Needles 3 are passed through holes 9 and slots 10 and are mounted in brackets 2. A loose edge of film 4 having hole 9 on needle 3 is fixed relative to the filter medium. The shield placing is produced during the forward motion in the filter medium by means of the consequent rupture of loose edges 7 in the places of holes 9 and straightening the packet wrinkles.
