FIELD: mechanical engineering; silencers for internal combustion engines, mainly for carburettor engines. SUBSTANCE: silencer has housing 1 with cylindrical inlet branch pipe 2 and outlet branch pipe 3 which are provided with noise-absorbing screen 4 made of porous material. Housing 1 is made in form of torus mounted in fuel reservoir 5 of carburettor under porous material of evaporating wick 6 partially immersed in liquid fuel 11 and is diametrically connected with inlet branch pipe 2 on one side and with outlet branch pipe 3 on the other side. Fuel reservoir 5 is provided in its turn with intake branch pipe 7 connected with cylindrical sleeve 8 whose bottom is perforated with small holes 9 and exhaust branch pipe 10. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of noise absorbing, homogeneity of fuel-air mixture and complete combustion of fuel in engine. 3 dwg
