FIELD: medicine; prevention of dental caries. SUBSTANCE: chewing gum includes anion-exchange fluoride resin having fineness between 5 to 500 mcm and moisture content between 3 to 5 % and performing functions of lasting source of fluorine ions, filler and ingredient which enhances cleaning effect and increases longevity of chewing gum. Chewing gum further includes sweetening component, for example xylite, which also scales up resistance to caries. Apart from anion-exchange fluoride resin and sweetening agent, par example xylite, medicinal chewing gum includes base, glycerine, and aromatizing and dyeing additives to be taken in following ratio: 20 to 30 per cent by mass base, 2 to 10 percent by mass anion-exchange fluoride resin, 65 to 75 percent by mass xylite, 0.5 to 2.0 percent by mass glycerine, 0.2 to 0.5 percent by mass aromatizer, and 0.1 to 0.5 percent by mass dye. EFFECT: markedly prolonged supply of fluorine ions to oral cavity, enhanced cleaning effect and longer storage life. 1 tbl
