FIELD: processing of liquids, mainly petroleum products such as fuels and lubricants. SUBSTANCE: filter has body 1 separated by partition 2 into inlet chamber 3 and outlet chamber 4. Filtering member 5 made from water absorbing material is positioned in chamber 3. Chamber 4 houses filtering member 6 made from fibrous polymeric mass impregnated with 5-10 per cent solution of trisodium phosphate. At filter entrance there installed throttle valve having body 7 housing locking member 8 and saddle 9. locking member 8 is balanced by active spring 10 and opposing spring 11. Active spring 10 is controlled by adjustment screw 12. Body 7 of throttle valve carries electromagnetic coil 13 with drive. EFFECT: enhanced operating capability. 1 dwg
