APPARATUS FOR SURFACES MECHANICAL CONDITIONING Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has mechanism to move pieces, supporting drums for pieces, driven shafts with conditioning members, mechanism for conditioning members pressing to treated surface, mechanism of axial motion of conditioning members. The latter is made as coaxially placed driving and driven conical gear wheels and intermediate conical gear wheel. Teeth of driving and driven gear wheels are made on wavy initial surface. Mean, that makes intermediate gear wheel to move forward along shaft axis of conditioning member, has slide, spider, worm gear with controlled worm. Slide is placed on spider. Spider is mounted so as to be capable to turn around shaft of conditioning member and to be fixed by worm wheel. Rule of conditioning member cyclical axial motion depends on form of wavy initial surface of intermediate gear wheel and on driving and driven gear wheels, that are engaged with it. EFFECT: apparatus is used to condition flat surfaces of pieces. 5 dwg
