ARRANGEMENT FOR SURFACE FINISHING OF CONCRETE MIX ARTICLES Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of prefabricated concrete and reinforced concrete articles. SUBSTANCE: arrangement has carriage with end face brushes and cylindrical brushes 16. Both end face and cylindrical brushes are provided with pressure and release mechanisms. Cylindrical brushes 16 are seated on shaft 24 foe axial and angular displacement relative to shaft by means of helical springs disposed coaxially thereon. Each cylindrical brush is provided with pulser of torsional vibrations, which is made in the form of planetary gear with central gear wheel 29 engaged with unbalanced satellite gears 31. Satellite gears are positioned on carrier 30 linked with shaft 24 of brush 16 and fitted with inertia mechanism. Inertia mechanism is made in the form of crank connected with slides 34, which, in their turn, are connected with resilient members 36 secured in housing. This design ensures most favorable conditions for operation of brush 16 and its action upon surface being treated.
