AIR CLEANER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: air cleaning systems; cleaning of transporting air in pneumatic transportation units. SUBSTANCE: device includes housing with bin, contaminated air inlet branch pipe and cleaned air outlet branch pipe, filter element and mechanism for its regeneration which is fitted on filter element and is made in form of screw feeder secured on drive shaft. Filter element is made in form of parallel strings. On side of drive, screw feeder is provided with torsional vibration impulsator and inertial mechanism. Torsional vibration impulsator is made in form of planetary gear mechanism with sun gear wheel and unbalanced satellites thrown into engagement with this wheel. Satellites are mounted on carrier which is kinematically linked with shaft of screw feeder. Inertial mechanism is mounted on screw feeder shaft; it is made in form of crank connected with connecting rods which are connected in its turn with sliders. Sliders are connected with flexible members secured on housing of Mechanism. EFFECT: high degree of cleaning. 2 dwg
