COMPOSITION FOR MANUFACTURING HEAT-INSULATING FOAMED PLASTIC Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of engineering plastic. SUBSTANCE: composition contains the following ingredients, parts by weight: modified phenol- formaldehyde novolac resin (CФ-121) 20-25; foaming agent (4 x 3-57) 1.5-2.0; foam-control agent КЭП-2 3.0-4.0; furan resin grade ПФ-203 75-80 and stannous chloride 1.0-1.5. The ingredients of the composition is mixed together and the resulting blend is agitated carefully. The blend is foamed in a mold treated with lubricant ЦИАТИМ-221. The foaming process is firstly carried out at temperature of 120 ± 5 C for 1 hour, and, then, at temperature of 180 + 5 C for 2 hours. EFFECT: increased strength. 2 tbl
