FIELD: production of foam plastic. SUBSTANCE: powder composition contains (mass parts); epoxy novolac block copolymer 100, 4,4-(N,N-dimethylureide)diphenylmethane 2.3-3.0, p-formaldehyde 3.0-5.0, trimethylpropane or product of interaction of oligoether and epichlorhydrin 2.5-5.0, azodiiso-butyronitrile 4.0-8.0, silicon-organic stabilizer of foam 1.5-3.0. All the components are ground and mixed within 5-10 h in ball mill. The process is followed by foaming and by hardening. The latter process is carried out within 10 h at 65-70 C. Apparent density thus prepared foam plastic is 150-300 kg/m3, its water absorption in 24 h and in 7 days being 0,04 kg/m2 and 0,07 kgf/cm2 respectively.
