FIELD: metallurgy, namely desulfurization of slag. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a ladle with a necking portion and a tuyere, mounted in parallel with a vertical axis of the ladle with possibility of rotation and vertical motion and having a curved output branch pipe and nozzles. The tuyere, arranged eccentrically relative to the vertical axis of the necking portion and spaced from its edge by a distance, equal (1.5-2.5) of its diameter, is mounted with possibility of rotation by an angle 90 degrees from its initial position. The output branch pipe of the tuyere, curved by right angle relative to the axis of the tuyere, has a length, equal to (0.6-0.8) of a length of a large horizontal axis of the necking portion, that may be rectilinear one or it may be elliptical. EFFECT: successive supply of a desulfurizing agent to all zones of the melt, being treated, with a decreased specific flowrate of the desulfurizing agent over a time unit. 2 cl, 6 dwg
