FIELD: mining and construction. SUBSTANCE: device has forced-apart jaws, outward thrust chamber, working fluid pressure system and spring members. Forced- apart jaws are made in form of semicylinders contacting each other with hollows on inner surfaces. One of jaws is sectional in form of wedge pair and provided with handle connected to outer wedge. Outward thrust chamber with membrane side walls is installed between jaws, in their hollows. Hollow surface is congruent to outer surface of outward thrust chamber. EFFECT: higher efficiency in breakage of rocks (oversizes) in mining minerals by blocks by their separation from rock mass, and breakage of reinforced concrete foundations. 2 cl, 10 dwg
