FIELD: coal mining. SUBSTANCE: method consists in driving development air supply openings over contour of pillar and airway behind breakage face, lateral working in seam floor, mechanized extraction of coal in breakage face and conveyor transport over workings. Airway is driven in same vertical plane with lateral air supply opening, and periodically connected with it by means of development working. Air supply opening over which coal is transported is periodically connected by means of horizontal working with lateral air supply opening and with airway. Connecting working with fresh air flow is arranged on the side of breakage face. Besides, lateral opening is periodically connected with air supply inclined opening.
