FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing corncob on a pair of rolls mounted in parallel relation one with respect to the other and pressing corncob to rollers; periodically shifting corncob from axis of rotation of at least one roll in the process of movement of corncob over outer surface of this roll; providing forced separation of corncob from this surface and returning it to the surfaces of both rolls. EFFECT: increased intensity of threshing seed corn on rotating rolls and improved threshing process quality factors. 5 dwg
