SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes fitting Kafka's cap on neck of uteris prior to starting ultrasonic study, carrying out ultrasonic scanning and measuring length of neck of uteris from inner surface of cap bottom to orificium internum uteri in nonpregnant woman and up to lower pole of ovum in pregnant woman. Width of neck of uteris should be measured between inner surfaces of cap side walls. EFFECT: disclosed method allows improving ultrasonic diagnosis of menace of abortion and isthmico-cervical insufficiency and controlling efficiency of treatment.
