FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: blood serum of pregnant women is tested for substance P presence (SP) and tumor-α necrosis factor (FNO) with enzyme immunodetection method. Then prediction factor K is calculated by formula: K=(0.006*FNO*SP-0.065*FNO*SP2-0.00004*FNO)/(0.005-0.031*FNO), where SP is level of substance P in absolute values, FNO is tumor-α necrosis factor in absolute values. If prediction factor K exceeds 0.48, miscarriage risk is predicted for certain pregnant woman.

EFFECT: higher accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of prediction of first trimester of pregnancy.
