FIELD: chemistry; methods of extracting gold from natural solutions. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in dissolving cinders resulting from process of roasting gold-containing pyrite concentrates, copper-iron mattles resulting from melting gold-containing pyrite concentrates, anode sludges or compound alloys in hydrochloric acid, hydrochlorinating pulp to redox potential of 90 to 100 mV, and finally carrying out sorption of gold from compound solutions using polystyrene disulfide. EFFECT: ecologically safe and low-waste technique of reprocessing compound gold-containing stock.
