SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nonferrous metallurgy, in particular to the hydrometallurgical processing of refractory raw materials containing gold. The method includes processing the concentrate by leaching in a chloride solution in the presence of an oxidizing agent with the extraction of gold into solution. In this case, ultrafine grinding of the flotation concentrate is preliminarily carried out to the content of a fraction with a particle size of -7 microns from 60 to 80% to obtain a pulp. Leaching of the pulp is carried out with the introduction of hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 100 to 200 g/l and sodium chloride with a concentration of 100 to 200 g/l at a temperature of 40 to 60°C and a ratio of w: t from 4:1 to 6:1, into the pulp gaseous chlorine is continuously fed as an oxidizing agent to maintain the oxidation potential of the slurry from 900 to 1000 mV relative to the hydrogen electrode to obtain a liquid phase of a gold-containing solution, and a solid phase - cake.

EFFECT: increased gold recovery of refractory flotation concentrates, exclusion of their preliminary thermal conditioning and reduction of the number of technological operations.
