FISH PROTECTING AGGREGATE OF WATER INTAKING STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic technology. SUBSTANCE: fish protecting aggregate has installed over water intaking aperture filtering barrier, that has frame-work with upper and lower gratings, between which strings are fixed. Frame-work of filtering barrier is filled with hollow balls, that make fish protecting obstacle and have centrally located coaxial upper and lower holes and are pinned on placed row by row strings. Diameters of lower holes of hollow balls are bigger, than diameters of their upper holes and face water intaking aperture. As filter is clogged, air compressor is switched on and compressed air through perforated hollow pipes of lower grating is fed as air-water sprays screen through lower holes into inner cavity of balls. Balls move up and become free from settled on them garbage. EFFECT: fish protecting aggregate of water intaking structures is used in hydraulic technology. 3 dwg
