FIELD: hydraulic technology. SUBSTANCE: fish protecting aggregate has filtering fish delaying barrier, made of vertical members of rubber twists with granules rigidly fixed along their length. One end of vertical members is connected with plate and other end - is fixed on frame-work. In the case of maximum concentration of fish fry before water intaking structure connected with drive plate is in lower position and vertical members are in pressed state, speed of filtration through barrier is minimum. In case of decrease of concentration of fish fry before water intaking structure connected with drive plate is moved and rubber twists of vertical members are pulled, that causes increase of space between granules and speed of filtration.
