SUPPORT OF PIPE LINE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-dimensional metal grid column having quadrangular cross-section is set on a foundation. Supporting bases of carrying branches are secured at base at corners of the column using fastening members. The pipe line pivotally-fixedly mounted on the column having diamond-shaped cross-section whose one of a diagonals arranged along the axis of the pipe line. Upper side of the foundation provided with inclinations directed from the center of the rhombus to the bases is positioned under the supporting bases. An additional supporting base pivotally-fixedly connected with the foundation is positioned at the center of the column. The bases of the branches are in a spaced relation to the foundation and fastening members and provide rotation of the column on the additional base by a value which is grater than its rotation caused by maximum temperature displacements of the pipe line up to rigid connection of the column with the foundation.
