FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device includes interacting gears for basing and measurement. Sample part-standard is mounted in mandrel of carriage. Carriage with standard is brought into measurement zone with the aid of adjustable rests of bracket. Device is adjusted to the whole length or to specified section of length of generating line. Reading gear is set at zero. Carriage is withdrawn, standard is taken out and tested part is installed in mandrel. Carriage with tested part is brought into measurement zone till is registered by adjusted rests of bracket. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement and expanded technological capabilities. 2 dwg
