FIELD: measuring equipment, applicable for measurement of the true parameters and radii of spherical articles. SUBSTANCE: device has a base, object stage for vertical displacement, carrier, casing installed in the upper part of the base, whose axis is matched with the axis of the object stage. Mounted on the carrier is a reading head for movement in the axis of the object stage and turning round the axis. A member in the form of a shackle carrying a carriage is installed in the casing on two rollers for turning. The carriage can move with the axle reading head, whose axis is matched with the casing axis. A connecting rod is hinge-mounted on the shackle in a groove with a shift relative to the axis of the rollers, the connecting rod is coupled to a shaft installed in the casing for movement. The device is provided with a detachable stop having a plane parallel with the plane of the object stage matched with the axis of the rollers. A detachable centering fixture with peepholes is installed on the casing. A mandrel is installed on the object stage.
