DEVICE MEASURING REAL DIMENSIONS OF OUTER SURFACES AND RADII OF SPHERICAL ARTICLES Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: instrumentation, metrology, mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device measuring parameters of outer surfaces and of radii of spherical articles has base, object table mounted for vertical movement, spindle of standard rotation, bearing member carrying axial reading head mounted for movement along axis of object table and for rotation around measured part. Device also includes rest mounted for contact with object table with plane matching rotation axis of axial reading head for precise adjustment of device with nominal dimension of parameter of surface and radius of spherical article and conical ring whose bigger base faces object table and axis of table coincides with axis of object table mounted for rotation around its axis. Holder of conical ring can turn around axis for fixation. Object table can be fitted with pneumatic gripper to fix measured article. Proposed invention makes it possible to take real dimensions of parameters of outer surfaces and of radii of spherical articles by direct measurement with high degree of precision and authenticity, to evaluate measurements by deviations from specified nominal dimension of parameter of surface and radii of spherical article with use of high- precision standard plane-parallel end length measures and reading units by direct measurement, to expand application field of non-standard measurement means not embraced by State standards. EFFECT: simplicity of adjustment of device and of its handling, high economical effect since there is no necessity for manufacture and usage of templates. 2 cl, 1 dwg
