FIELD: infra-red imaging equipment. SUBSTANCE: method of infrared imaging identification of objects consists in scanning of object surface, in reception and processing of thermal radiation of object, in reception and analysis of polarization infra-red images. Novelty of method lies in continuous formation of three polarization infra-red image of object surface for each similar element which polarization azimuth is shifted through 60 deg which enables shape of object surface to be identified in real time.
