FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to determination of hemoglobin and its derivatives in blood for use in laboratory practice. For this, using a digital spectrophotometer in the wavelength range λ=500–700 nm, with an accuracy of 0.5–1 nm, the absorption spectrum of the erythrocyte suspension in PBS buffer is measured at pH 7.4. Further empirical and theoretical curves are approximated by the standard non-linear regression method. Approximation takes into account the absorption of light by hemoglobin derivatives, as well as the Rayleigh scattering of light and scattering on blood cells.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the accuracy of the evaluation of the content of hemoglobin derivatives in the blood of a healthy and sick person in the diagnosis of diseases.
