FIELD: machining of metals. SUBSTANCE: cutting tool holder has channels filled with heat-carrier. Cutting tool is provided with multiple-section magnet adapted for forced circulation of heat-carrier by travelling magnetic field through holder channels, which are made closed. Magnetic liquid containing microparticles of ferromagnetic material having Curie point temperature exceeding martensite transformation point is used as heat-carrier.
