FIELD: generation of electric power.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engines for generating electricity. In a heat engine for generating electricity, containing a tank with areas filled with hot and cold liquid heat carrier arranged along the perimeter of the body, and a guide placed on the outer edge of the tank, wherein a shaft is installed rotatably in the centre of the tank in the cavity separating the areas with the heat carrier, provided for a step motor, a hinge is secured on the shaft, with rods with holders on the axes whereof capsules are installed, capable of rotating around their axis; wherein each of said capsules comprises a disk plate made of a material with a shape memory effect and an elastic diaphragm, with a cylinder made of a non-magnetic material located between the plate and the diaphragm, wherein windings of an electric generator are installed around said cylinder, with annular permanent magnets placed concentrically to said windings; the capsules are filled with ferromagnetic liquid; rollers in contact with the guides are secured at the ends of the rods; and the shaft is configured to rotate periodically from the step motor.
EFFECT: structural simplification and prolonged operating life of the engine.
