Reaction conditions: reagent 1 is mixed with water at the mass ratio (0.1-10):1 and heated up to 150-180 C following by distillation off from the formed reaction mixture of 4,4-dimethyldioxane-1,3, formaldehyde and water. The end product is removed as vat with concentration 90-98%. Method is used in the basic organic synthesis. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
