FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: charge components are melted in induction furnace. At first metallic magnesium is loaded on the crucible bottom then 0.1-1.0% of cerium is introduced. The remaining components of the charge are dissolved in magnesium melt with intensive stirring at 700-1000 C. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
