FIELD: training aids. SUBSTANCE: in the installation for the demonstration of the dynamic extinguishing of oscillations the dynamic extinguisher of oscillations is made in the shape of a hollow cylinder inside of which an inner cylinder with a gap is placed. The lateral surface of the cylinder is covered with fluffy cloth, with the fiber being directed to the same direction which allows to demonstrate the effect of the considerable lowering of the oscillation amplitude of the dynamic extinguisher at the expense of the inner cylinder rotation relative to the hollow cylinder in comparison with the dynamic extinguisher of oscillations in the form of a solid. The value of the oscillation amplitudes of the dynamic extinguisher is measured by indicators with the aid of a dividing rule. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 2 dwg
