FIELD: photometry. SUBSTANCE: electrons emitted from concave surface of photocathode 11 are formed into aberration-free axially symmetric beam. Diaphragm 16 having two rectangular slot-like holes placed along one straight line is put in plane of cross-over. Edges of holes are equidistant from center of diaphragm 16. As a result of this geometry of cross-over is transformed from round to line one divided into two equal parts. Energy converter 17 of electrons manufactured in the form of microchannel plate is mounted close to diaphragm and due to it collimation with simultaneous reduction of energy of electrons passed through rectangular holes of diaphragm 16 takes place. After emission from channels of microchannel plate extracted electron flux is first collimated in electrostatic field formed with conductive grid 18 and is then focused with the aid of focusing system 19. Deflection system 20 performs scanning of electron beam in space as a result of which light track composed of resolved paired line elements of cross-over image located along direction of scanning close to each other will be displayed in luminescent screen 12. Measurement of distance between points corresponding to selected level of brightness in each resolved element of cross-over image in direction perpendicular to direction of beam scanning is used to judge about luminous energy within each resolved moment of time.
