FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has photocathode, anode positioned close to the latter, system of electronic beam sweep, and luminescent screen. Its peculiarity is in that in order to improve time resolution and image brightness photocathode and anode represent spherical surface directed with their convexity from luminescent screen. In this case, anode is transparent to electron flux, and main geometrical dimensions of instrument may be found from the following relations: $$$, $$$, where $$$ is photocathode slope radius, mm; $$$ is anode slope radius, mm; $$$ is distance from photocathode to anode, mm. EFFECT: higher results of analysis. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
