FIELD: photoelectronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: optoelectronic converter with forward parallel scaled-image distortion has photocathode, luminescent screen, and permanent magnets inbetween which build up periodic focusing system from pairs of short circular permanent magnets with opposing polarities of magnetic field strength in each pair; inner diameters of pole shoes monotonously increase or decrease in direction from photocathode to luminescent screen. Electric potentials shaping uniform electric field in space between photocathode and luminescent screen are applied to magnetic circuits (pole shoes) surrounding circular permanent magnets of device. Strength of magnetic fields at specified scaling and optimal inner diameters of pole shoes as function of same specified parameter are illustrated. The following parameters are attained; spatial resolution in respect to photocathode is 40 points per nm; distortion is not over 1% intensity amplification gain is -6x10 cdm/lx. EFFECT: provision for virtually ideal axial symmetry of magnetic and electric fields due to spatial alignment of electrodes. 4 cl, 1 dwg
