FIELD: devices designed for holding worked objects, namely at doing metal works, particularly cutting and assembling operations.

SUBSTANCE: vice includes housing with fist jaw, second jaw, claming screw, handle and fixing member. Clamping screw has first and second openings. First opening is normal relative to axis of clamping screw. Second opening is coaxial relative to axis of clamping screw, it is extended from end of said screw till first opening and it has smooth and threaded portions. Fixing unit is arranged in second opening, it has stop and elastic member at side of smooth portion and thrust screw in its threaded portion. Elastic member of fixing unit is arranged between thrust screw and stop. Handle is mounted in first opening and it has turning in its mean portion. Fixing unit includes in addition locking member at least with one leg. Thrust screw includes head and thrust protrusion turned to side of stop and formed in end of threaded portion. There is recess in threaded portion of second opening. There are dents on surface of head at side of threaded portion. Leg of locking member is placed in said recess and it engages with surface of head at side of threaded portion. Locking member has hole for putting onto thrust protrusion. The last is arranged inside elastic member of fixing unit.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of locking handle in mend and intermediate positions, rigid fixation of handle.
