FIELD: press equipment. SUBSTANCE: adjustable hold-down comprises hydraulic cylinder 1 carrying a hold-down ring, punch holder 3 having the form of two-rod piston 4 and connected with press slide 26, travel limiter 25 of hydraulic cylinder 1 and hold-down device consisting of valve 11 spring-loaded by flexible member 10, piston 12 interconnected with wedge-shaped pin 13, and contour-following guide bar 14. Punch holder 3 has adjusting-stabilizing device consisting of piston 17 and screw-and-nut pair 18 and 19 whose rod end is connected with the rod end of hold-down device through channel 5. Flexible members 10 and 16 and working areas of pistons 12 and 17 of hold-down and adjusting-stabilizing devices are identical.
