FIELD: mechanical engineering, metallurgy, surface treatment. SUBSTANCE: lute for cementation and nitrooxidation of parts of alloyed steels and titanium alloys has 5 to 12 wt. per cent of carboximethyl cellulose, 3 to 10 wt. per cent of urea, 35 to 50 wt. per cent of graphite, the balance being synthetic glue. The content may be added with yellow dextrin of up to 0.6 per cent of ash content, boron carbide accounted for 1.5 to 1.8 per cent by weight. Carbonyl, nitrocellulose or synthetic paper glue may be used as synthetic glue to be introduced in lute directly prior to its applying on the part. Graphite may be introduced in the content in the form of a mixture of equal parts of flaked and powdered graphite.
