METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER DRAINAGE STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: water disposal from earth embankments and other fill structures. SUBSTANCE: method for construction of water drainage structure consists in cutting ditch, reinforcing of ditch bottom and walls with coating and imparting profiled shape in longitudinal section with projections. Used for coating is geotextile material which is laid over surfaces of bottom and walls and edges of coating are fastened along ditch length. Projections are formed from geotextile material fastened to form lateral holders filled with earth to make them rigid or with some other material for use them as dampers of water stream velocity. Holders are also filled with U-shaped clamps. One clamp for each holder with locking of clamp in ground of ditch bottom part. EFFECT: extended field of application, reduced terms of construction and its costs, decreased labor input with required reliability of structure. 2 cl, 6 dwg
