FIELD: processing of domestic garbage and industrial waste. SUBSTANCE: waste is fed to underground sink through stripping sinks where it is burnt at supply of oxidizer to area of burning; combustion products fill the worked-out area. Part of thermal energy of gases is used for thermal preparation of next section of burning. Waste and oxidizer are fed to underground sinks via separate stripping sinks or via one sink together. Waste may be processed in shaft sinks or in underground gas generator when it is burnt together with coal. In first case, combustion products are directed to the worked-out area by air or water flow to this end, mine water may be used. In second case, combustion products are left in space formed by burning or are shifted through definite distance. Part of thermal energy of gases formed in burning the waste is directed for thermal preparation of underground burning section. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 2 dwg
