FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for mining of coal fields consists in working coal seams by pillars-thermo-gas generators which are prepared concurrently with driving development workings with arrangement of gas blowing and gas discharge channels between sealing stoppings and coal seam over the entire pillar length. These channels are used for efficient controls of burning and gasification of coal pillar between gates. Protective strips are erected over the entire perimeter of gas generator. In gasification, controlled discharge of gaseous products is effected by maintaining depression in gas discharge channels at the level considerably exceeding the depression in gas blower channel and due to aerodynamic separation of the active part of length of gas blow channel from its other length. In putting-on the blast, worked out space over its entire length is pressurized. Complex of equipment for embodiment of the offered method includes gas blow gas discharge channels, pipelines, blast generator, steam line communicated with steam generator of waste-heat boiler whose outlet is connected to steam turbine with electric generator. Novelty consists in that the complex is provided with fan for pressurization of worked out space and pipelines-heat exchangers whose one end is connected with pressurization fan and the other end is connected with steam line communicated with waste-heat boiler.
