FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: coal deposits are opened, prepared and exploited using burning of coal at place of deposit occurrence. Heat gas generator is made on the extracting pole (stope) prepared to exploitation by drilling wells between preparatory workings. The wells are sealed and equipped with heat exchanging pipelines, through which the heat-transfer agent is pumped. The stratum is lighted up and blowing is conducted to the combustion zone by through one group of the wells. The products of combustion are removed through the other group of wells. Superheated steam (heat-transfer agent) is passed to the waste-heat boiler and then to the steam turbines to produce electric power. Waste heat-transfer agent is supplied to combustion zone for recycling. It is possible to use waste heat-transfer agent in hydraulic turbines with its subsequent supply to the high-temperature zone.
