FIELD: mining, particularly, methods of underground gasification of coals. SUBSTANCE: method includes leading working of seam by method of underground gasification by drilling of two holes. Seam is lighted up and gasification products are withdrawn. In working of protective seam, methane gas of worked seam is directed to zone of burning or preliminary heating by regulation of discharge pressure Pd and expansion pressure within relation P_d>P_o>P_e, where Pd is discharge pressure, Pa; Po is barometric pressure of atmospheric air, Pa; Pe is expansion pressure, Pa. In this case, displacing zone of Po within frame of burning region and preliminary heating, different composition of combustible components is produced. EFFECT: safe conduction of operation in seam liable to geo- and gas-dynamic phenomena; mobile variation of composition of produced combustion gas. 1 dwg
